Malaysia's conservative Islamic party has said it will mount protests at Canadian rocker Avril Lavigne's concert here Friday, after failing to have it banned. The concert is an insult to Islam as the fasting month of Ramadan is due to start just a few days later, said Nasrudin Hassan of the Pan Malaysian Islamic Party PAS.

"A concert of this nature is not conducive to teach the younger generation to become good citizens, upright and competitive, but instead would weaken them morally and mentally," he said in a statement.

"If the concert organisers do not heed this warning to cancel the concert, PAS youth will order all Muslim youth to turn up and protest the concert in order to prevent it from taking place."

The Canadian singer is scheduled to perform in the capital, Kuala Lumpur.
Malaysia's official news agency Bernama reported that the application to hold the concert was originally rejected by the government on the grounds it was submitted too late. However, it said the cabinet last week agreed to let the concert take place on the condition that the performance was "not a bad influence, especially on the young".

Last year, US singer Beyonce scrapped a planned concert in Malaysia due to fears of protests, when Gwen Stefani went ahead with a performance but was forced to cover up after complaints about her outfits.

i really think that to ban avril lavigne to come over to ___ is very CRAP! i mean, although fasting month is coming, wads so wrong of having a concert? masyaAllah! after all its like 3days before fasting month starts. its not as though its DURING the fasting month itself wad.. gosh! if u dowan any of them to come then dont invite the superstars, making the whole ____ excited la. gosh! so merepek! haha! i wont be shocked if no superstars would ever want to have a concert there ever again seyy :P

oh yea, ive been too protégé on the medicine mum bought me. i ate it like once everyday after a meal, n now i'm super dependant on it. well, firstly how i started eating it. i get headaches like everyday without fail and then ill feel very floppy and weak. so probably its because at that time i was losing alot of blood. but the scary thing is that even b4 it started, i already start feeling very very giddy. haiish.. so yea, as i was saying, fasting month is coming. i aint knw how am i spose to survive w/o being able to eat the medicine....coz the medicine does help! ayayayaii.. nvm2.. ill find a way, insyaAllah..

ive been playing bball like almost everyday after school with shidah and the guys.. very fun la! i find it very very goooood! haha.. can lose weight (nak lose weight ape lagi, ramadhan kan coming pe?) hahaha.. and i'm SUPER EXCITED for ramadhan!! wanna knw why?? because, i can go terawih!! foooooh! fun! i mean, its like only 1mth per year wad! so why not kan?!! haha..

but, we couldnt be too happy la, because, Nlevels coming ! gosh! pretty scary yea.. haiish.. nvm nvm..
